PROCESS USED TO CREATE OUR PRODUCTS
The process used to create a resin river table involves pouring a two-part epoxy resin into a wooden tabletop that has been prepared with a sealant. Before pouring the resin, the wood is sanded down to a smooth finish and any knots or imperfections are filled with wood filler. The sealant prevents the resin from soaking into the wood and ensures a smooth, level surface for the resin to sit on.
Once the sealant has dried, the resin is mixed together in equal parts and poured into the tabletop. A small amount of pigment can be added to the resin to create a colored effect. The resin is then spread out evenly using a spreader tool, ensuring that it fills all of the gaps in the wood.
After the resin has cured for several days, the tabletop is sanded down to a smooth finish and polished with a wax or other protective coating. The result is a beautiful and unique piece of furniture that showcases the natural beauty of wood and the versatility of resin.
